Course Description: The aim of this scaffolding safety training course is to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to work safely with scaffolding. 

The training enables participants to identify scaffolding hazards, apply safe work practices, comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards, and prevent accidents associated with working at height.

Course Objectives: By the end of the scaffolding safety training, participants should be able to:

  • Explain the principles and importance of scaffolding safety in the workplace.
  • Identify common hazards associated with scaffolding activities and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Understand the legal requirements, industry standards, and safe work practices applicable to scaffolding operations.
  • Conduct basic risk assessments before commencing scaffolding work.
  • Select, inspect, and correctly use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for scaffolding activities.
  • Apply safe procedures for accessing, using, and working on scaffolds to prevent falls and other incidents.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of emergency response procedures related to scaffold accidents and working at height.
